This photo comes from my first roll of 120 film. Shot with Bronica SQ-Ai and Zenzanon 50mm F/3.5 PS standing on a fence post and with mirror lock-up for extra steadiness, at f/18 and 1/15s. Film - Fuji Reala. Here I used ND2 and 81B Cokin filters. Taken in Carpathians near Yaremcha.
Bronica SQ-Ai is a modular medium (6x6cm square) format SLR camera with an electronically controlled leaf shutter.

Decided to interrupt a row of black and white photos with this one from Nepal. Among all the places for mountain viewing in the Kathmandu Valley, Nagarkot is usually considered to be the best. The views go from Dhaulagir in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east. On a clear day you can see Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha). You can also see Manaslu (8,463m), Ganesh Himal (7,111m), and Langtang (7,246m). Many people go up to Nagarkot in the afternoon, stay in a hotel in Nagarkot, and then get up at dawn to see the Himalaya during the sunrise.

Weather did allow me to do that: the night was stormy and the wind was howling with pain around hotel. Storm quietened down late in the morning and then I managed to take this photo from the lookout tower on the top of Nagarkot hill. Funny thing is that Nagarkot hill has no official name in Nepal: they do not consider it a real mountain though with its elevation of 2,195 meters it's still higher than anything in Ukraine :)

Nikon D50 + Nikkor 80-200/2.8 (ISO 200, 112mm, f/11, 1/60), tripod.

The film winding motor of my F100 failed to wind the film once so I got one images superimposed onto another. I find its look funny but not void of charm. I should have made a nice frame with diffused edges, but I am too lazy when it comes to frames ;)
